We are looking for people for a full time permanent career in the Supply Chain Industry. If you are currently unemployed and seeking full time employment where you can be home every night and make a decent wage without having to spend thousands of dollars on schooling, than this might be an option for you. We are seeking 10 unemployed people in the Red Deer area who are interested in pursuing a career in the Supply Chain Industry and are willing to commit to 15 weeks of training (if are currently on EI--you can live on your EI while doing the training). We will train you for 11 weeks at Red Deer Polytechnic where you will learn how to do Inventory Management, procurement, business operations & logistics. You will learn new & emerging technologies such as AI, Robotics. You will also do some safety training and get 4 safety tickets including Forklift to meet current workplace requirements. This is all followed 4 weeks of on the job training with a local business . After that you start your paid employment. *Must live within a 45 minute commute of Red Deer Polytechnic, be over the age of 18, out of High School for 1 year, currently unemployed (due to no fault of your own) and have a good work ethic.
